A preprint with the description of the use of the SIS3301 VME digitizers in the data acquisition chain of the liquid Xenon LUX Dark Matter detector was released on August 11th. 2011. A total of 122 PMTs is read out with 16 SIS3301s configured with a 30 MHz anti aliasing filter.

The article is online under  http://arxiv.org/pdf/1108.1836

Custom firmware was developed for the use of the SIS3301 in LUX and we would like to express our thanks to Jeremy Chapman and Rick Gaitskell from Brown University for the pleasant co-operation.
