SIS DSP Page

The use of DSPs in data acquisition has a long tradition. Even with nowadays fast clock speed of CISC and RISC computers these platforms are not appropriate for many high performance data movement and processing tasks. Due to the pipelining architecture the performance of custom data acquisition cards will be way above the performance of standard CPUs in given applications.

At present we have cards based on Analog Devices SHARC and TIGERSHARC DSP families, from earlier work we have experience with Motorolas 96002, the SIS2900 (D-Mostab) is based on a Texas Instruments DSP. In most cases the efficient use of DSP hardware still requires assembly language programming, SIS supplies full system integration support (hard- and software) for your demanding applications.
