The SIS3811 V7 and V8 is based on the V7 and V8 design of the SIS3801 multiscaler board. The main addition is CBLT (chained block transfer) style readout of the scaler data from the FIFO. As the resources of the VME interface are limited, functions which are available in the original SIS3801, like LNE prescaler, had to be removed. Hence we decided to us a new module number.
