Inline Fill Control (IFC)

The inline fill height control (IFC) system is used to monitor the filling level in canning facilities. It bases the accept/reject decision on the analog ouput of a fill height sensor (laser system e.g.). Typically the average over a number n of measurements is compared with a threshold value, other algorithms can be implemented. A machine speed independent masurement can be obtained by the use of a shaft encoder in the seamer as clock signal for the digitizer stage.

The IFC setup is basically identical with the ISC system.
