The D-Mostab NIM (SIS2900) module was developed at DESY to stabilize the harmonic content or the absolute intensity of the X-Ray beam. DESY offered the license to build the module to SIS and the license agreement was signed beginning of January 2000.
Status: Discontinued product, RoHS transition and/or production of additional units is not possible due to obsolescence of components
The SIS2900 samples and digitises one or two analog signals, signal processing is applied to derive the analog output voltage to control one crystal of a double monochromator via a Piezo.
Two analog inputs via LEMO connectors (for I or I/I0 operation)
Analog Output 0-10V (to control external HV supplies)
32 KHz sampling rate
On board DSP (digital signal processor)
TTL loop locked output and LED
Control via RS232
0 ... -1000 V 2 mA HV option (not with rackmount option)
Front panel control option (communication processor)
Double width NIM Cassette
2U 19" rack mount chassis
LVPZT controller with DMS/strain gauge mode (in combination with rack mount option)
Download version 6.1 dmos.hex. Fixes two input mode normalisation accuracy problem. The program can be downloaded to your D-Mostab with the utility promprog (part of the export directory).
